INTERVIEW
Wilfrid Prellier, director of the Crismat laboratory in Caen
Question 1: Can you present to us in a few words the laboratory that you direct and briefly describe the CIBOX project to us?
The Crismat Laboratory, created in 1986, is a crystallography and material science laboratory-Triple Tutual CNRS, Ensicaen, Unicaen-. We are one of the main European research laboratories in the field of sustainable, intelligent and remarkable properties. We carry out approximately 120 ACL/year publications and have obtained numerous prizes including in 2018 the solid chemistry price. Regarding the CIBOX project, the major objective of the project carried out over 3 years is to perpetuate a French production of oxide targets with gains in reproducibility, purity, density, homogeneity and costs.
